Solving the World's Problems

From Afternoons, 2:24 pm on 27 September 2018

This is our fortnightly attempt to solve the world's problems one small thing at a time. Today we talk to sheep and beef farmer and rural issues writer Steve Wyn Harris. He's looking at a crisis facing the world - how to feed a potential population of 10 billion people by 2050? In 1960 we had 0.4 ha of arable land for every person on the planet. Today that number is less than half that. Steve looks at how his own sector - sheep and beef - is lifting productivity.
