Laundry and conversation for homeless people

From Afternoons, 1:27 pm on 30 August 2018

There are more than 40,000 people experiencing homelessness in New Zealand.

Many of them are lacking basic necessities, not least, the ability to clean their clothes.

An Australian company Orange Sky runs the world's first free laundry service for homeless people, and they're bringing their washers and dryers to New Zealand to help those living rough here.

Orange Sky co-founder Lucas Patchett tells us why the service is much more than just cleaning clothes.
