Hamilton has a very vibrant music scene. Not just Kimbra, though she is one of the stars to come out of there, and one who participated in what's called the Hamilton Circle Jerk.
Since the early 2000s musicians have gathered to performs songs, exactly two covers of a local band and one original. The event inspired similar ones in other cities across the country.
