A Christchurch woman's frustrations with the mental health system have led her to proposing a new centre for the city with a different approach.
Marcelle Lunam's working to get the Tūmanako Wellness Centre built to provide an alternative option for mental health patients and their families.
Her difficulties in dealing with the current system began when her brother went missing from a ,mental health facility and was lost for days.
She speaks about where the project is at and what her vision is for the centre.
