The 90's Irish music explosion

Riverdance is often referred to as the phenomenon that started the Irish pop music explosion, but the seeds had already been sown by groups like Clannad, the Chieftans and even U2.

Today we welcome back Jared Mackley-Crump - an ethnomusicologist from AUT - he was on a few weeks ago talking about the history of Eurovision, and today he take us back to the 1990's irish pop explosion - and what lead to it
