It was a big 10 years. The 1990s featured political and social upheaval in New Zealand.

Today's expert Associate Professor at Victoria's School of History, Philosophy, Political Science & International Relations Jim McAloon talks to Jesse about New Zealand from the landslide National Party victory of 1990 to Jenny Shipley rolling Jim Bolger and becoming our first female prime minister, Ruthanasia, Winston Peters break from the National Party and then Helen Clark becoming our first elected female prime minister.
