New Zealand's shocking domestic violence statistics are well-known but every year, ahead of White Ribbon Day, events are held throughout November to promote healthy relationships between men and women.
This years' campaign includes a documentary film titled 'Raise Our Men'. It looks at the box boys are often raised in and how that can shape their behaviours in the future.
Michael Kaufman, co-founder of White Ribbon, is in the country from Canada for the launch of the campaign and to hold free workshops across New Zealand.
