Let's Eat! is Nadia Lim's seventh cookbook and the first she's self-published. It's full of recipes she's cooked countless times for friends and family.

The name of her publishing company Nude Food is a tribute to a dream she had as a 12 year old.

"My life plan was going to be marry Jamie Oliver, write cookbooks with him and have a cooking show called 'Food in the Nude'.

Lim says she'd she's been a bit nervous when first opening a published copy of her six earlier books, and this is her favourite so far because she's been hands-on with every part of the process.

The book features family recipes like a Kiwi-fied version of her dad's Malaysian chicken rendang and healthier versions of two childhood favourites – bounty bars and jellytips – and Lim's top ten sweet treats.

She says Including these in a book of 100+ recipes reflects her 90 / 10 philosophy.

"90 percent of the time try to eat well, then 10 percent of the time have whatever the hell you want - don't even think about it, just enjoy it."
