Political shock waves may hit on Saturday if Labour loses its traditionally safe seat of Mt Roskill. Vacated by Phil Goff when he took up the mayoral chains, it's widely tipped to continue to be a red electorate. But as we've just seen in the U.S anything can happen in politics.
