From Afternoons, 2:38 pm on 10 October 2016

Matt Rayner is the Curator of Land Vertebrates at Auckland Museum, and has played a key role in the study and protection of the New Zealand Storm petrel, which was believed to be extinct until 2003 when it was discovered that a small number were breeding on Little Barrier Island.

He talks about these remarkable birds, and the efforts to save them.
