Seismic shift in print media

Fairfax Media Limited and and APN News & Media Limited have told the New Zealand Stock exchange that they are in merger talks. If completed, the combined company would cover newspapers like the New Zealand Herald and the Dominion Post as well as the radio network NewstalkZB.
