Iraq - Pete Kara

Tomorrow, Prime Minister John Key will outline our contribution to international efforts against IS in Iraq. One man with experience on the ground in Iraq is Pete Kara. He was a specialist advisor to the United Nations in the 1990s looking for weapons of mass destruction following the Gulf War. He went on to become a health and safety specialist for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize Certificate in 2013, for his work as a chemical weapons inspector.
