Ebola Helpers - Tony Paine

Two New Zealand nurses are on-route to Sierra Leone to join the international Red Cross team responding to the Ebola crisis. Whangarei mother-of-four Donna Collins and Wellington nurse Sharon Mackie are on their way to West Africa. The New Zealand Red Cross says trained staff are desperately needed in the region. The Ebola outbreak in West Africa has been declared an international health emergency by the World Health Organisation. New Zealand Red Cross says a total of 1711 cases have been reported, with 932 deaths. Tony Paine is the Secretary General for the New Zealand Red Cross.
