1:20 City planning needs more focus on infrastructure in Auckland
There's been a lot of discussion around the Government's planned changes to housing rules in Auckland.
The changes would see higher-density housing, like apartments and townhouses, built across the city and closer to public transport, shops, and community services.
Former Auckland town planner and now private consultant Raj Maharjan says too much attention has been given to the loss of heritage homes, and not enough focus on the infrastructure. He says some serious work needs to be done or the city will grind to a halt.

1:30 Seven year old spreads the word about a weed imposter around Aotearoa
Thanks to the curious mind of a seven year old there's been a revelation for many about a pest plant in New Zealand that many have incorrectly thought is the native toetoe.
Eden Fearnside and her mum have observed the familiar white fluffy grass growing in the country side and found that a lot of those grasses are actually an imposter weed from South America.

New York based artist Sarah Cameron Sunde has returned to New Zealand to complete a performance which she first started working on just before the country went into lockdown in 2020.
It's an installation which will leave you cold, literally. It involves the artist standing in the Manukau harbour, for a full tidal cycle. Water engulfs her body, up to her chin and then recedes back down to her feet.
The 12 hour 23 minute performance will take place on Monday morning, will be filmed in real time, from multiple angles, and live streamed around the world. Locals are being asked to walk out and join her.
Sarah talks to Jesse about the meaning behind the performance.
