That's a question that child health researcher Julie Spray has been considering - in consultation with children of course!

Dr Spray is a medical and childhood anthropologist, who is currently a research fellow in the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland.

She recently wrote about this issue of inclusivity for The Spinoff and talks to Jesse about where she sees gaps in our national response.

1:30 First solar-powered hot pools in NZ open for business 

A new thermal hot pool complex has just opened to the public today in the central Canterbury town of Methven. 

The Ōpuke Thermal Pools are solar-powered - this is said to be a first of its kind in Australasia.

We have been going for a stroll down memory lane recently to mark 100 years of radio in New Zealand by sharing lots of listeners' memories.

Yesterday, Barbara Mulligan wrote in to tell us that several radio stars from the past are buried in the Karori cemetery in Wellington!

Barbara is vice chair of the group Friends of Karori Cemetery and speaks to Jesse about some of the famous broadcasters, including Aunt Daisy, buried at the cemetery.

3:35 Critter of the Week Tailed Forest Spider 

This week’s critter is the Tailed Forest Spider.

Also called scorpion-tailed spiders or drag-tailed spiders, the female Tailed Forest Spider, Arachnura feredayi, has a long body that looks like an autumn leaf.

Females are up to 6 times bigger than males and spin long twig-like tubes out of forest detritus to house their eggs.
