2:10  D Day - Jonathan Tucker: Today is the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the largest seaborne invasion in modern history, in which no New Zealand ground forces took part - or at least, that's been the accepted view.
New Zealanders were definitely involved, serving on the ships and planes which carried more than 150 thousand troops to France.
But one amateur historian believes he has proof to show that one New Zealander did actually set foot on a beach, Gold Beach to be precise, one of the five sectors of Normandy coast targetted by Allied forces.
