The Mokau River was once plied by hundreds of vessels carrying timber, and coal, and of course cream from the dairy farms.
One of those original vessels is about to celebrate 100 years service on the waters. Once a trader, the MVCygnet is now a tourist boat run by husband and wife, Neil and Dawn Coleman.
