Matt Wells was hassled by his friend Murray for two years before agreeing to provide him with a beehive. Three years later Matt and his partner Catherine Gorden lease out and maintain 120 hives through Marlborough, Nelson and Tasman.
Sage Forest zaps in to Urban Bees headquarters in Picton to gather the buzz on the biz and bees, but first she joins the couple on a special delivery - the birthday gift of a hive to the man who has almost everything.
