The Fiji Sevens team have set the benchmark heading into the Olympics next month, after winning the PacificAus Sport Oceania Sevens, in Townsville, Queensland at the weekend.
Despite not playing for almost 15 months, the Fijians finished unbeaten, defeating the All Black Seven's 17-7 in their final match.
Fiji Sevens coach Gareth Baber says he's pleased with the intensity they bring to the games.
"I think we're in a good spot. We've played some good stuff but we've been ordinary at times as well and we know that there's always stuff to work on but we scored a good bag of tries which is what we're always after and we're continually working on our shape and qualities in defence."

The Fiji women's team are also in good spirits with three wins and three losses, including an upset over the Olympic champions Australia.
Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli says there are a lot of positives and also lessons learned for the Tokyo Games which start in July.
"We will continue to work hard as individuals, players, and as a team. We will do our review and meet our next phase of plan going to Tokyo," he said.
The tournament was organised as a final pre-Olympic hit-out for Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, with an Oceania Barbarians selection rounding out the numbers.
The Fijian teams completed two weeks in quarantine on the Sunshine Coast last Friday and have spent the past week training in the Townsville sunshine.
Both squads received their second dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine last week.
