The Northern Marianas has eased its quarantine restrictions as the territory looks to welcome back tourists.
Since Saturday, people arriving are being exempted from quarantine if they register with a monitoring system and consent to specimen collection.
Tourists will also have to also prove they've had a test at least six days before arriving, otherwise they'll have to spend five days in quarantine at their own cost.
The Northern Marianas, which has had 30 cases and two deaths, is trying to reopen to tourism to salvage its ruined economy.

CNMI Governor appeals to Trump for help
Meanwhile the Governor of the CNMI has written to US President Donald Trump seeking support for the plan to reactivate local tourism.
Ralph Torres also sent the president a copy of the CNMI Tourism Resumption Blueprint which, in partnership with the private sector, aimed to resume international flights from South Korea.
The letter said the CNMI sought to re-establish travel links with South Korea that would require each visitor to present, upon checking into their flight, certification of a negative Covid-19 test within the preceding 72-hours.
The governor said the CNMI was in the process of enhancing monitoring and risk mitigation efforts and needed to establish channels of communication with health officials in their source markets.
