A convicted murderer in American Samoa has been charged with stabbing a fellow inmate with a knife.
Samoa News reported Faufano Faauliuli was facing a first degree assault charge for the stabbing inside the Territorial Correctional Facility.
The victim is in the LBJ Hospital following the attack.
Faauliuli is serving a 30-year sentence for killing his brother several years ago, on the island of Aunu'u.
