Thirty-five-year-old Semi Le'au of Solosolo was last seen heading for a swim at the Ocean Club Resort, at Maninoa in the early hours of the morning of 23 July.

According to the Samoa Observer, Police Commissioner Fuiavailili Egon Keil confirmed police have a new lead that they are investigating.

Fuiavailili wouldn't say any more on the matter for fear of jeopardising the investigation, but an unidentified woman has reportedly been banned from leaving the country until the investigation is completed.
