Two seasonal workers from Vanuatu have died in a vehicle accident in New Zealand's Bay of Plenty region.

The fatal accident occurred when a car crashed into a garage in Te Puke late last night.
The two ni-Vanuatu who died were participants in New Zealand's Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme.
They were contracted to kiwifruit packing company Trevelyan Pack and Cool Ltd.
Two other people who were in the car sustained injuries in the accident which is being investigated by the Serious Crash Unit.
