The Hawaiian congresswoman, Tulsi Gabbard, who was born in American Samoa, has won re-election for a fourth term in the US House of Representatives.

Ms Gabbard represents rural Oahu and the Neighbor Islands.
In Hawaii's governor's race, the incumbent Democrat, David Ige, has been re-elected for a second four-year term.
Mr Ige defeated Andria Tupola, who is also of Samoan ancestry.
