There been a call in American Samoa for all government workers to be drug tested.
The secretary of Samoan Affairs Mauga Tasi Asuega made the call at a budget hearing yesterday.

He told lawmakers illegal drugs had affected the entire territory, especially its children.
He said the issue affected villages. churches, businesses and the government.
Mauga suggested drug tests for all government departments and said he would raise his hand for them to begin with his own Office of Samoan Affairs .
Mauga has often spoken about the drug problem at cabinet meetings and has even gone as far as admitting that his own children use drugs.
