Fiji's Attorney General has slammed several non-governmental organisations saying they have become politically aligned.

The FBC reports Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum saying many NGOs challenge government actions, despite the positive work the government has done.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said these NGOs then failed to highlight degrading comments made by some opposition MPs.
He claimed this showed the NGOs are not truly independent.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said some people were always hiding behind the façade of being an NGO and the façade of belonging to an organisation.
