Sport: Combined Fiji/Samoa entry in Super Club netball champs

A combined team from Fiji and Samoa will compete in the second season of Netball New Zealand's Super Club competition in Nelson later this month.

The Pacific Island side is one of five international teams that will compete against New Zealand's top three ANZ Premiership finishers, the Southern Steel, Central Pulse and Mainland Tactix.

The other teams are South Africa's Gauteng Jaguars, the Sneakers from Singapore, the University of the West of Scotland Sirens and the New South Wales Institute of Sport.

Fijian side Marama Vou finished bottom of last year's inaugural Super Club competition.

This year's event sees 20 games played over six days, culminating in the Grand Final next Friday.
