Fiji have been added to the Pacific Rugby League Test programme after Lebanon withdrew.

The Bati will face the Papua New Guinea Kumuls on June 23 at Campbelltown Stadium followed by Mate Ma'a Tonga taking on Toa Samoa.

Fiji, who were pipped 26-24 by Tonga in last year's Pacific Test and upset New Zealand to reach the World Cup semi-finals, were originally excluded from this year's event.

Fiji have had plenty to smile about so far at the World Cup.

All four squads will also participate in a Pacific Test Fan Day on Wednesday June 20 at Campbelltown Athletics Track.

NRL Senior Manager of Pacific Strategy, Frank Puletua, encouraged fans to purchase their tickets early to avoid missing out following a sold-out event in 2017.

"Last year's Pacific Test and the Rugby League World Cup showed just how much rugby league means to our Pacific players and the communities they represent," he said.

"The players get to connect with their culture, their peers and the wider community. I encourage everyone to come along and witness the colour, flair, power and passion that the Pacific Test Invitational produces both on and off the field.

"It is truly something special."
