The Queen's Representative in the Cook Islands has dissolved parliament and confirmed the date for the upcoming general elections.

Tom Marsters made a public announcement on local radio stating that the elections would be held on Thursday 14 June.
Radio Cook Islands reports the date will allow the next administration to pass the budget.
The Cook Islands parliamentary staff say no official documentation or notice has been delivered yet.
