It comes amid continuing concerns at the quality of some domestic water with local reports that people in a number of villages are being told to boil their water.
The Niue water export plan, headed by New Zealander Wayne Harris-Daw, draws on the same aquifer that supplies the island.
MP Terry Coe has challenged the company's right to call its product 100 pure artesian water when it needs to be filtered.
He wants the water to be tested before it leaves the country.
