The Brisbane Broncos beat the Papua New Guinea Hunters 12-26 at the National Football Stadium.

The weekend clash was is the Hunters only pre-season hit-out.
The Hunters went into the second half leading 12-6.
But the Broncos scored two more tries via Wingers Corey Oates and Jordan Kahu to put the game out of reach as they close the game with a respectable margin of 26-12 against the Hunters.
The Queensland Cup champions begin their title defence in two weeks against the Ipswich Jets in Port Moresby.
