A search continues in American Samoa for two prison escapees who broke out from the territorial Correctional Facility Sunday night.

The Commissioner of Public Safety Le'i Sonny Thompson said the search for Joe Togitogi and Iosefa Iosua has been concentrated in the Tuala uta district based on leads from the public.
He decried that the search was taking police away from their regular duties, adding that heavy rain was not helping.
The two are considered dangerous and should not be approached, Le'i said.
He advised the public to contact DPS as soon as the two are sighted.
Togitogi and Iosua also escaped from TCF last month, with two other inmates.
