Banririe Nenebwati said the service would be an opportunity for teachers and close friends of the missing trio to share memories of the ferry disaster victims.

He said the missing student was a year-10 girl whose older brother, who graduated two years ago, was also missing.

The other former student is a woman who completed her studies last year.

Mr Nenebwati said he had visited the grieving families and offered his condolences to them.

He said the whole school would be at the devotional service in the school's assembly hall on Wednesday to mourn the students and about 80 other missing passengers thought to have lost their lives at sea.
