An extra one hundred solar street lights including battery replacements have been secured for the Marshall Islands.

The Solar Street Light Project has extended its plans to distribute and install the solar street lights to the outer islands.

More than one hundred solar street lights were installed in Majuro and Ebeye last year, with Majuro now receiving battery replacements.

Taiwan provided funding assistance for the project extension with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Commerce.
