No school lunches in Tahiti as kitchen strikes

A strike has come into effect at Tahiti's central kitchen which provides meals for about 5,000 school children.

The stoppage follows a breakdown in negotiations and means that today no school lunches will be prepared and delivered.

According to Tahiti-infos, another strike has started at French Polynesia's only daily newspaper.
