The Post Courier reports local people are calling for the Angau Memorial Hospital management to collect the waste daily and dispose of it at proper sites.

The paper reports it takes about a week for the rubbish to be removed at present.

Masks, mats and mattresses are also among the waste.

The community is concerned about the health risk posed to patients and the public.
