A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has struck 230km off New Britain, in Papua New Guinea, early Tuesday local time, according the United States Geological Survey.
The quake was at a depth of 5.7km.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a tsunami warning.
