Two Pacific Islands teams will compete at the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens next year, with Fiji joining Samoa in adding some international flavour to the event.
All of the Australian and New Zealand Super Rugby teams will be joined by the two Pacific countries, along with French giants Pau and Japan's Panasonic Wild Knights for the two-day competition in February.
The Chiefs beat the Crusaders in the inaugural final, while Samoa were beaten by the Crusaders and Reds in pool play, either side of a win against the Blues.

FRU CEO John O'Connor said Fiji's inclusion was another milestone for the Union.
"Our inclusion comes after negotiations between FRU led by the Chairman of the Board and Duco Events (Brisbane Tens organisers)," he said.
"We are delighted at this great opportunity. The Board has been committed to creating pathways for our local players and our inclusion gives our local players yet another opportunity to be exposed to international competition especially after our inclusion in the NRC competition."
"Our local players will be playing against Super Rugby teams and it will indeed expose them to a high level of competition. The opportunity will also expose our local coaches and technical staff to the vigourous requirements of international competitions", Mr O'Connor highlighted."
The event switches to a day-night format next year, with matches to begin in the afternoon and run into the evenings.
