Fiji's opposition wants investigations to determine the cause of water supply problems in many urban centres.
Its leader Ro Teimumu Kepa said despite millions being given to the Water Authority of Fiji, water woes had plagued people in Nadi, Labasa, Navua and the Suva area.
She said this raised questions about the ability and efficiency of the Water Authority, which she said should apologise.
She cited blockages and problems to access catchment areas as well as the inconvenience caused to businesses.
Ro Teimumu said she was contacting the relevant minister to investigate the situation urgently because it was a matter of public interest.
