A group in Fiji is hoping its initiative to provide free condoms in nightclubs, bars and motels will help in the fight against sexually transmitted diseases.
The Rainbow Pride Fiji Foundation has introduced its "Condomising Hotspots" initiative around the country.
Foundation director Isikeli Vulavou said it was also aimed at reducing teen pregnancy.
He said the group had conducted behavioural studies which point to the need for safer sex.
"Condom use was very low and one of the reasons attributed to this particular statistic was that it was not readily accessible," he said.
"Many of them are hooking up online, secondary to that nightclubs and bars. That's why we developed this particular project."
