The Family Protection Unit of the Vanuatu police is investigating reports an infant was thrown from a bus in Port Vila.

Police have arrested two people, one of whom is the father of the child.
Both are on bail ahead of a court appearance on Friday.
The child is believed to have suffered minor injuries.
