French Polynesia's president Edouard Fritch says the new French government supports the Elysee Accord which was signed by Francois Hollande earlier this year.

Mr Fritch made the comment after an hour-long meeting with the French prime minister Edouard Philippe in Paris.
The two sides signalled continuity as the Accord was drawn up with the previous administration.
It is a new economic and social development co-operation agreement which acknowledges the legacy of the French nuclear weapons tests and ties the territory politically to France.
Mr Fritch reiterated that French Polynesia was ready to hold the first of the broad conferences planned by President Emmanuel Macron for every overseas territory.
After earlier meeting the overseas minister, Mr Fritch suggested the conference could be held within three to four months.
Last month, Mr Fritch met a representative for Mr Macron who assured him that the president believed that France's presence on all five continents gave it a chance to again find a great place among nations.
