A Colombian man has been found guilty of smuggling 20 kilograms of cocaine into Fiji at the end of a retrial.
Aiden Alec Hurtado was arrested in 2015 for importing the drugs into the country.
But he was acquitted later that year, a decision the public prosecutor decided to appeal against.
At the end of a retrial at the Suva High Court on Wednesday, Justice Thushara Rajasinghe overturned the acquittal.
Hurtado will be sentenced next Tuesday.
