The Bank says it's investing $US1.5 million to assist Fiji's presidency of COP23 which takes place in Bonn.

The support includes technical advice worth at least half a million dollars to help Fiji become a leader on green transport issues and to explore options for expanding disaster insurance.

The bank plans to hold its 52nd annual meeting in Fiji, the first time it will be held in a Pacific island country.
