The Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O'Neill said PNG is looking to members of the Melanesian Spearhead Group to work together to advance labour mobility in the region.

Mr O'Neill made the comments after meeting with the Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare in Port Moresby on Wednesday.

The Post Courier reported him saying there is tremendous opportunity for the MSG members to enhance the capacity of their people to work in different countries.

Mr O'Neill said the world is getting smaller and people want to travel between countries for work and business.

He said by establishing the right procedures, people could bring their skills to PNG and Papua New Guineans could travel to build careers and strengthen social interaction.
