Papua New Guinea's police commissioner says all police vehicles in the capital, Port Moresby, will be installed with dashboard cameras.

Gari Baki said the installation will assist in curbing police brutality and ensuring accountability.

Mr Baki told the Post Courier that police brutality is an issue that has to be dealt with every day, and the devices will allow for accurate information to be used against any officer who disobeys rules.
