Today was the final day of the drive which has been to 178 secondary schools.

The Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem has urged all those who've turned 18, the legal voting age, to register.

He said the registration data collected would now be checked for double-ups before final figures are released.

The next election is due to take place in 2018.
