Sport: Swimming gold for Guam, Cook Islands

Pacific swimmers have won two more gold medals on the penultiumate night of finals at the Oceania Championships in Suva.

Guam's Benji Schulte touched home first in the men's 50m breaststroke final, ahead of New Zealand's Jacob Garrod and Fiji's Meli Malani.

Cook Islands swimmer Wesley Robert won his second gold medal in the men's 400m freestyle.

Papua New Guinea's Ryan Pini collected his third silver medal of the week in his favoured 100m butterfly event.

Samoa's Lushavel Stickland was second in the women's 200m backstroke.

Meanwhile New Caledonia finished runners-up in the men's 400m freestyle relay, with Fiji taking bronze in both the men's and women's finals.
