Fiji remain winless at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup after losing their Plate Championship semi-final against Scotland by 76 runs.

Cakacaka Tikoisuva impressed again with the ball, claiming 4 for 46, as the Scots were dismissed for 225 in the 49th over - the first time Fiji have bowled out their opponents in five matches.

In reply, Fiji went from 18 without loss to 18 for 3 in the space of four balls and continued to lose wickets on a regular basis.

A stand of 47 for the eighth wicket between Peni Vuniwaqa, who top-scored with 80, and Josaia Baleicikoibia offered brief hope before Fiji were eventually dismissed for 149 in the 43rd over.

The Melanesians will attempt to avoid the wooden spoon in their final match against Canada on Thursday, in the playoff for 15th and 16th place.
