The Fiji Olympic football team have lost 2-0 against Levante United in the first match of their six-game Spanish tour.
Despite the result, coach Frank Farina told Fiji FA Media he was impressed with the way his team played against a team of full-time professionals.
"We lost 2-0 but in terms of the outcome of the game I was pleased with the performance of the boys. We will be looking for improvement in terms of possession today wasn't good for us. We turned over too many balls too quickly and if we can improve on that by at least 50 percent we'll be much better because you only score when you have the ball and we want to play possession-based football. Today we gave too many balls away too easily so it's an area we have to really improve on".
Fiji are back in action tonight against Hercules, who also play in the third tier of Spanish football.
